Job summary

Rice Lake Weighing Systems in Fernley, NV is seeking a Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Welder will perform MIG welding to exacting standards, read blueprints, and fit parts using a variety of tools while maintaining quality and safety.

This position offers daytime, first shift hours, steady 40-hour weeks with overtime as needed, and opportunities to develop skills with overhead crane and forklift operation in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Welding degree or 2+ years welding experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing docs; English reading/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead crane and forklift to move material.
• Perform MIG welding to RLWS standards.
• Read blueprints to lay out welds.
• Grind parts and prep surfaces as needed.
• Work in a team or independently to complete workload.
