Job summary

Rice Lake Weighing Systems is seeking a Welder to perform welding to product standards across flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead positions. You will read blueprints, lay out parts, and operate welding equipment while maintaining RLWS quality standards and safe practices.

You will use carbon arc devices, grinders, and hand tools, with occasional lifting up to 50 lb. The role requires English reading/speaking abilities and a commitment to teamwork in a small shop setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Welding degree or 2+ years of manufacturing welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding to RLWS standards.
• Read blueprints to perform proper welds.
• Grip and grind parts as needed.
• Move materials using overhead crane or forklift.
• Work in small groups or independently to meet workload.
