Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to be the on-site expert for floor and bench scales across the Miami region. You will perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs while representing the company professionally at customer sites.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training operators, documenting work via service software, and coordinating with internal teams to meet uptime targets. Travel and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years experience acceptable.
• Proficiency with PC networking and software configuration needed; training on METTLER TOLEDO systems provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations and repairs as needed.
• Provide end-user training on proper equipment use and care.
• Document work using company laptop and service software daily.
• Communicate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support, and sales to meet uptime and response targets.
• Maintain vehicle and parts inventory in organized condition.
• Identify potential service or product needs and submit sales leads as appropriate.
• Follow safety and quality policies at all times.
