Job summary

Gerhart is seeking Field Service Technicians to calibrate weighing and material handling systems on-site. You will operate company vehicles, troubleshoot, and repair weighing equipment while maintaining professional communication with customers and the Team Leader.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical or electrical background, a customer-focused mindset, and are willing to work overtime as needed. CDL is preferred; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• On-site calibrations of weighing and material handling systems.
• Mechanically troubleshoot and repair weighing equipment.
• Interact professionally with customers and report task status.
• Maintain safe working conditions and drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough on-site calibrations of weighing and material handling systems
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
• Ability to mechanically troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose malfunctions and repair weighing equipment
• Interact in a professional manner with customers, review and communicate scheduled tasks, call status, and service reports with the customer and Team Leader
