Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Entry Level Industrial Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Resilience Environment team in Indianapolis, IN. This internship will apply your wastewater treatment knowledge to support front end concept development, detailed design, water conservation, and sustainability for industrial clients.

You will participate in equipment sizing, data analysis, and the preparation of technical reports and drawings, with opportunities to advance into project management, client

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water and wastewater treatment process design and solution development.
• Perform process, mechanical, and hydraulic calculations (pump, tank, and equipment sizing).
• Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Support data management, QA/QC, and technical reporting.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field staff.
• Conduct site visits and assist in process optimization.
