Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer with 2+ years of consulting engineering experience to design industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities. Responsibilities include creating drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and reports, with site visits and field work across the United States.

The role supports hybrid work arrangements and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of industrial wastewater experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Function as the wastewater process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects, leading design tasks with assistance from Arcadis’ IWTO process engineers, senior engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Work on engineering designs developing drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, technical reports, and equipment selection for industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Work with drafters/designers and coordinate with other disciplines to complete construction documents.
• Support engineering services during construction on projects, including submittal reviews, responses to requests for information, and other construction related office-based engineering work.
• Verify performance and/ or conformity with design drawings and specifications through field inspection and testing during construction and commissioning, and routinely seek out guidance and implement feedback received from senior engineering staff
