Job summary

ISG is seeking an Industrial Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to join the Water/Wastewater team in Sioux Falls, SD. The role focuses on designing water and wastewater systems for industrial clients across sectors such as food & beverage and dairy, delivering practical, data-driven process solutions.

Responsibilities include developing process designs, preparing PFDs/P&IDs, and collaborating with senior engineers while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree with emphasis on process design.
• Experience in industrial water/wastewater process design is essential.
• Ability to think critically and tailor designs to client conditions.
• Experience validating mass and flow balances for feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop process designs and calculations for industrial water/wastewater systems.
• Create and review PFDs/P&IDs and equipment sizing specifications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and mentor interns.
• Support field activities, startups, and commissioning.
• Present technical results and contribute to knowledge sharing.
