Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer with 2+ years of consulting experience to contribute to the design of industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. The role includes drawings, P&IDs, specs, and technical reports for U.S. clients, with field work during project phases.

The position is hybrid, supporting facilities nationwide. Candidates should reside in Novi, MI or other listed locations and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of industrial wastewater experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater equipment for industrial clients.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Function as the wastewater process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects, leading design tasks with assistance from Arcadis’ IWTO process engineers, senior engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Work on engineering designs developing drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, technical reports, and equipment selection for industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Work with drafters/designers and coordinate with other disciplines to complete construction documents.
• Support engineering services during construction on projects, including submittal reviews, responses to RFIs, and other construction related office-based engineering work.
• Verify performance and/or conformity with design drawings and specifications through field inspection and testing during construction and commissioning.
