Job summary
Seven Seas Water Group is seeking an Applications Engineer to lead the technical side of our industrial Water-as-a-Service (iWaaS) offerings. You will design flowsheets, price projects, and stand as the technical voice during customer engagements, coordinating with origination and business development teams.
Based in Tampa, FL or Houston, TX with 20–30% travel, you will translate client specs into guaranteed treatment schemes, develop capital and operating cost estimates, and own supplier
Qualifications
- Design the flowsheet, price the job, and be the technical voice that wins industrial water deals.
- Develop the treatment flowsheet from influent characterization to guaranteed performance.
- Lead supplier negotiations and write clear scopes of work.
- Provide ground-up estimates for capital and operating costs.
- Experience with Water-as-a-Service contracts and related delivery models is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer influent and effluent requirements into a complete treatment flowsheet.
- Own the supplier side: write scopes of work and evaluate offerings.
- Lead technical bid evaluations and defend process guarantees.
- Develop PFDs, equipment lists, and capital estimates from supplier pricing.
- Serve as the technical contact in front of prospects’ engineers and plant managers.
