Job summary

UMECC, a Cincinnati, OH–based supplier of heavy‑duty production equipment, seeks a Warehouse and Product Specialist. You will handle daily flow of product, shipping, receiving, and inventory control while communicating with customers and carriers.

Training will be provided to develop product knowledge and independence in warehouse operations. You will work with sales, product managers, purchasing, and accounting to resolve issues and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with hands-on warehouse experience.
• Able to learn product applications, parts, drawings, and assembly procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication for customers, carriers, and coworkers.
• Comfort with QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and shipping platforms.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and orders.
• Inspect parts for condition and conformance with drawings using basic tools.
• Identify shortages or discrepancies and document issues with suppliers.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including bills of lading and packing lists.
• Coordinate pickups, track shipments, and assist with claims as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Enter data in QuickBooks, Excel, portals, and shipping platforms.
• Assemble replacement parts and subassemblies per BOMs and drawings.
