Job summary

MEC is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to support shipment processing, inventory control, and accuracy of paperwork. You will inspect deliveries, document damages, and ensure secure handling of cargo in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift certification, experience with WMS and RF scanning, and the ability to work rotating weekends and overtime as needed. Join a team focused on safe, efficient logistics operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• 1 year of warehouse experience; freight forwarder experience preferred.
• Experience with a WMS and RF scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve growth on shipments by analyzing orders for overages and shortages.
• Inspect deliveries for damage and advise managers.
• Reconcile paperwork before releasing product and maintain security levels.
• Update inbound/outbound shipment info in the WMS (weight, dimensions, photos).
• Ensure adherence to DG/HAZMAT regulations and SOPs.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory counts; manage labels and records.
