Job summary

NYNE Mechanical, a division of NECI, seeks a Service Coordinator to support valve and asset repair work. You will coordinate customers, schedules, and work orders while interfacing with shop and field teams. Hands‑on training will be provided to develop technical understanding and ERP proficiency.

Expect overtime during outages and busy periods; strong organization and communication are essential. You will learn valve repair fundamentals, coordinate between customers, technicians, and vendors,

Qualifications

• Experience in service coordination or related mechanical roles welcome but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in understanding equipment.
• Willingness to learn via hands‑on training.
• Strong computer skills and comfort with new business systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and teams.
• Sense of urgency, accountability, and follow‑through.

Responsibilities

• Scope, quote, schedule, and execute repair and service work with customers and teams.
• Create, manage, and update work orders.
• Coordinate shop and field service activity from request to closeout.
• Communicate schedule and scope changes to stakeholders.
• Use IFS to create proposals, orders, and POs.
• Support post‑job reconciliation and service documentation.
• Ensure orders and subcontractor scopes are complete and accurate.
• Maintain organized customer records and service docs.
• Learn fundamentals of valve repair and shop/field operations.
