Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Rotating 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Punctuality and self-direction are essential.
• Must pass a pre-employment digital assessment.

Responsibilities

• Support units using basic hand tools, pneumatic gear, gauges, oxy-fuel torches, and power tools.
• Handle, transport, and process product and materials.
• Work around hot, heavy, sharp, or hazardous materials.
• Manual labor with the ability to lift over 25 lbs.
• Inspect and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Work in mill areas with hot/cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy environments.
• Possible close proximity to molten metal.
• Progress to operating material handling equipment like cranes, tractors, trucks, dozers, loaders, and feeders after training.
