Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking skilled Repair Technicians to diagnose, repair, and service our product line in our Factory Service Centers. You will work under the supervision of the Factory Service Center Branch Manager, ensuring safe, reliable operation and high customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes hands-on electrical and mechanical repair, parts management, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, service, and engineering teams. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires an education equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical repair is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a customer service position is preferred.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver heavy material weighing up to 300 lbs.
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Must be proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel up to 10% using the quickest and most cost-effective mode of transportation (Flight, Bus, Train, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Disassemble units, diagnose operating difficulties, locate and replace worn or defective parts.
• Assist in answering alarm calls and secure company property.
• Perform maintenance, calibration, certification, and inspections per drawings.
• Set up electrical and mechanical tests to confirm quality and safety.
• Keep records of parts used for billing and warranty information.
• Track inventory and order replacements to ensure availability for repairs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely, professional assistance.
• Support Field Sales, Marketing, and Service with product service needs.
