Job summary

United Abrasives, Inc. is seeking a driven sales representative to manage regional sales and business development.

You’ll drive end-user sales through multiple distribution channels, uncover new opportunities, and demonstrate products highlighting cost savings and performance improvements. The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent and 2–5 years of industrial sales experience; knowledge of welding and metal fabrication is helpful.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of sales experience in an industrial setting.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industrial distribution practices and trends.
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabricating, woodworking, and power tools is helpful.
• Military background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-user sales through multiple distribution channels.
• Uncover new sales opportunities and convert them into customers.
• Demonstrate products to end users emphasizing the financial impact of improved performance, safety, and quality.
• Manage and consistently update sales leads to track progress.
• Effective management of end-users and distributors with high quality follow through ensuring territory growth objectives are achieved.
• Overnight travel required (access to transportation and a valid driver’s license required).
