Randstad USA in Lee Summit, MO is seeking a mechanically inclined Hydraulic Repair Technician for 1st shift. You will diagnose, tear down, rebuild, and assemble hydraulic cylinders and basic fluid power systems in a modern, climate-controlled shop.

The role offers 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, a pay range of $24–$30 per hour DOE plus OT, and benefits including employer-paid health and dental plans, generous PTO, and year-end bonuses. Path for internal growth into CNC machining exists.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in an industrial, mechanical, or shop environment expected.
• Solid troubleshooting skills with heavy equipment and hand tools.
• Basic MIG welding skills and forklift operating experience.
• Reliable, hands-on mindset and ability to perform physical shop labor.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders and fluid power components.
• Repair leaks, replace worn seals, and fix bent or damaged parts.
• Perform basic MIG welding for shop repairs and light fabrication.
• Safely operate a forklift to transport heavy parts and materials.
• Support shop operations, maintain clean workstations, and follow safety protocols.

Pay Range: $24.00 – $30.00 / hour (DOE) + Overtime

About the Role We are seeking a mechanically inclined Hydraulic Repair Technician to join our 1st-shift shop team in a modern, 100% climate-controlled facility. You will diagnose, tear down, rebuild, and assemble hydraulic cylinders and basic fluid power systems.

This role is ideal for a hands-on worker in an active industrial environment. Path for Growth: Motivated team members have a direct path for internal career advancement to train and transition into a CNC Machinist role.

Key Responsibilities

• Cylinder & System Repair: Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders and fluid power components.
• Maintenance & Fixes: Repair leaks, replace worn seals, and fix bent or damaged parts.
• MIG Welding: Perform basic MIG welding for shop repairs and light fabrication.
• Material Handling: Safely operate a forklift to transport heavy parts and materials.
• Shop Support: Assist with general shop labor, maintain clean workstations, and follow all safety protocols.
