Job summary

Randstad USA in Lakeland, FL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fabricator to perform welding, fabrication, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and plant equipment.

You will work both independently and with team leads to analyze problems, fabricate parts, and help ensure plant equipment runs safely and efficiently. The role requires a High School diploma and 1 year of experience; shift is First, 8 AM to 4 PM.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in welding/fabrication.
• Experienced level.
• High School education.

Responsibilities

• Welding & Fabrication: Weld and fabricate mechanical devices, structural components, and machine parts using welding equipment, cutting torches, plasma cutters, cut-off saws, and machine-shop tools.
• Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, disassemble/assemble machinery, and troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Problem Solving & Planning: Read and interpret basic machine diagrams, blueprints, and plant layout drawings to spot mechanical issues, plan solutions, and execute repairs.
• Facility & Safety Support: Maintain plant fire systems, operate mobile equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, genie booms), and serve on the plant emergency response team.
• Communication & Inspection: Inspect machinery, report conditions affecting operations, and collaborate with lead personnel and supervisors.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will perform critical welding, fabrication, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and plant equipment. • Welding & Custom Fabrication: Weld and fabricate mechanical devices, structural components, and machine parts using welding equipment, cutting torches, plasma cutters, cut-off saws, and machine-shop tools.
• Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, disassemble/assemble machinery, and troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.

The essential functions of this role include:
