This is a fulltime first shift position (Monday – Friday) 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

Position Overview:

As an Industrial Technician of Package Pump Stations, you will be responsible for assembling and testing package pump stations used in various industries. Your expertise in mechanical assembly, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will ensure the efficient production of reliable and high-performance pump stations.

Duties & Responsibilities would include but not limited to:

Mechanical Assembly:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to assemble package pump stations accurately.
• Assemble mechanical components such as pumps, motors, valves, piping, and electrical control panels according to specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks.
• Ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality of components during the assembly process.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any assembly-related issues.

Quality Control and Testing:

• Conduct visual inspections and functional tests on assembled pump stations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify and address any defects or non-conformities during the assembly process.
• Perform pressure, flow, and performance tests on pump stations to verify their functionality and efficiency.
• Document test results and maintain accurate records of assembly activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Welding experience a plus but not required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform precise and accurate assembly tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
