Job summary
Fruitsmart-Inc is seeking a Systems Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of facility utility and process support systems. You will oversee ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, condensers, cooling towers, and water treatment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
You will work with production, maintenance, quality, and other teams, perform inspections, respond to alarms, maintain logs, and support process improvements while delivering timely, thorough
Qualifications
- Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial utility systems in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, cooling towers, water treatment, and wastewater systems.
- Experience using a CMMS.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- PSM/RMP knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Inspect compressors, evaporators, condensers, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in refrigeration/utility systems.
- Maintain logs and maintenance records.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, water treatment, and wastewater systems.
