Siemens Energy is seeking a Supplier Development professional to strengthen supplier production systems in high‑complexity environments. You will diagnose capacity, flow, constraints, and variability, leading targeted improvements and translating successful methods into repeatable playbooks.

This role operates in a global, matrix environment, collaborating with procurement, engineering, quality, and operations across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years improving production systems in high‑complexity supplier environments.
• Strong systems thinking around flow, capacity, constraints, variability, and stability.
• Experience using data and analytics to support decisions and performance discussions.
• Ability to translate hands-on work into repeatable methods and training.
• Ability to influence across functions in a matrix environment; travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose supplier production systems and identify root causes of gaps.
• Drive targeted improvements in throughput, lead time, and robustness.
• Strengthen supplier capability with robust operating routines and escalation logic.
• Translate priorities into sequenced supplier development initiatives with baselines.
• Create standard work, playbooks, and training to enable repeatability.
• Influence stakeholders across regions to drive sustained adoption.
