Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Supplier Development professional to strengthen supplier capability within Strategic Procurement. You will work globally to drive capabilities, collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations, and implement structured methods for sustainable performance improvements.

The role focuses on diagnosing production systems, coaching teams, and translating hands-on experiences into repeatable playbooks while traveling internationally up to 30% to align with supplier

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience improving production systems in high complexity industrial supplier manufacturing environments.
  • Deep systems thinking grounded in flow, capacity, constraints, variability, and stability.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and improve real production systems using data, analytics, and emerging digital/AI based tools to support decisions and performance discussions.
  • Experience translating hands-on work into repeatable methods (standard work, routines, templates, playbooks) to enable others via coaching and training.
  • Ability to influence across functions without direct authority; travel internationally up to 30%.

You will be part of the global Supplier Development function within Strategic Procurement at Siemens Energy, responsible for strengthening supplier capability as a strategic lever for business performance and long-term competitiveness. The team operates globally, partnering closely with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Operations. It combines targeted execution on priority supplier topics with a strong focus on enabling the broader organization through structured methods and approaches.
