Job summary

PCL Industrial Construction Co. seeks a Subcontracts Manager to lead complex subcontracting activities across our projects in Houston, TX. You will manage pre-award activities, evaluate bids, and ensure contract compliance with project teams and trade partners.

You'll apply deep knowledge of EPC execution, negotiate terms, and drive value-focused results while mitigating risk on renewable energy and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in subcontracts and/or procurement in industrial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, business management, construction, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, engineering, procurement and construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-award contract activities and interface with project teams to support RFP preparation.
• Provide feedback to ensure compliance with project-specific contract requirements.
• Bid evaluation and negotiations up to award for EPC contracts in major processes units.
• Organize and prepare presentations and meetings with contractors and clients.
• Develop and transmit RFPs; manage pre-mobilization processes and deliverables.
• Ensure contract compliance and timely status reporting, invoices and documentation.
