Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking a Structural Engineer for its Manufacturing Engineering Group in Atlanta. The role involves designing for gravity, lateral, and equipment loading, and preparing construction documents in a hybrid setting with regular on-site work at the Atlanta facility.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree (Structural focus), 10+ years of structural experience, PE/SE licensure, knowledge of concrete/steel components, and proficiency in RAM Structural Systems as well as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• PE or SE license required.
• Strong knowledge of codes, materials, and analytical software.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Experience with RAM software and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with codes, rules, and internal standards.
• Conduct on-site investigations and field measurements.
• Develop engineering calculations to support design and collaborate on drawings.
• Communicate with project managers and other participants daily.
• Support construction administration and SME reviews.
• Mentor project team members and assign responsibilities.
