Job summary

Olsson is hiring an Associate Structural Engineer in Tulsa, OK. You will join a team delivering design and analysis for industrial facilities, applying structural principles and using Revit for detailed models and docs.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients, grow with increasing responsibility, and mentor interns while gaining field experience through site visits. A Civil/Architectural with structural emphasis degree and EI certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• Minimum of one year of engineering experience.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certificate.
• Experience developing detailed 3D models and construction documentation in Autodesk Revit.
• Familiar with ACAD Software, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, MS Excel, and Hilti/Dewalt design.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions by developing calculations, models, and construction documents for industrial facilities.
• Deliver projects by supporting design, coordination, and project documentation.
• Solve engineering challenges in collaboration with experienced engineers.
• Collaborate across teams with clients and contractors to advance project goals.
• Grow expertise through hands-on structural analysis and design software.
• Support quality delivery with calculations and reports.
• Develop others by mentoring interns and sharing knowledge.
• Gain field experience through site visits to verify conditions.
