Job summary

Olsson is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join our industrial team in Dallas. You will work with a seasoned group of engineers to deliver design calculations, construction documents, and coordinated project plans, while growing technical and professional skills.

You’ll engage in field visits, develop detailed 3D models in Revit, and mentor interns, contributing to practical design solutions across diverse industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certificate is required.
• At least one year of engineering experience.
• Experience developing detailed 3D models and construction documentation in Autodesk Revit.
• Familiar with ACAD Software, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, MS Excel, and Hilti/Dewalt design.

We are seeking an Associate Structural Engineer with strong technical curiosity and a desire to grow their engineering skills. In this role, you’ll work with a team of experienced engineers to deliver projects, solve complex challenges, and take on increasing responsibility in engineering analysis, design, and project coordination. As a continuing developmental Engineer-in-Training (EIT), you’ll apply established engineering principles, contribute to practical design solutions, and continue building the technical and professional skills needed for long-term career growth.
