Job summary

Olsson is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join our industrial team. You will work with seasoned engineers to deliver design solutions, perform analyses, and prepare construction documents for safe facilities.

This role emphasizes growth, mentoring interns, field visits, and collaboration across disciplines. You'll gain hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools while contributing to diverse projects across sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• Minimum of one year of engineering experience.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certificate.
• Experience developing detailed 3D models and construction documentation in Autodesk Revit.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, RISA3D, EnerCalc, MS Excel, and Hilti/Dewalt design.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions by developing calculations, models, and construction documents for safe industrial facilities.
• Deliver projects by supporting design, coordination, and project documentation.
• Solve challenges by applying engineering principles with experienced engineers to develop effective solutions.

We are seeking an Associate Structural Engineer with strong technical curiosit y and a desire to grow their engineering skills. In this role, you'll work with a team of experienced engineers to deliver projects, solve complex challenges, and take on increasing responsibility in engineering analysis, design, and project coordination. As a continuing developmental Engineer-in-Training (EIT), you'll apply established engineering principles, contribute to practical design solutions, and continue building the technical and professional skills needed for long-term career growth.
