Job summary

Bodycote in Hebron, Kentucky, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support production and customer needs under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager. You will assist receiving and shipping, unpack, stage, transport, and pack customer parts, and verify accompanying paperwork in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

This role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and ITAR compliance as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift operation certification.

Responsibilities

• Care and treatment of customer inventory with safe handling to prevent loss or damage.
• Pack completed parts for shipping and unpack parts for processing.
• Conduct visual inspection of parts for damages before shipping.
• Record and sign off on all steps in the shipping operation job folder.
• Locate shipping containers and use shipping materials safely.
• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety policies and wear PPE.
