Job summary

Bodycote is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk based in Hebron, KY to support receiving and shipping activities for customer parts and inventory. Candidates must meet ITAR-related requirements and be able to operate forklift equipment safely in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Hours are 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and weekend shifts. A $1,500 sign-on retention bonus is offered, and pre-employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year experience generating shipments and shipment documentation.
Must be able to multi-task and be flexible to work in other departments as needed.
May be asked to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Careful handling of customer inventory and maintaining safety.
Pack and ship parts following written instructions and verify paperwork.
Perform visual inspection for damages prior to shipping.
Record and sign off on all steps for each shipping operation.
Locate shipping containers and safely use shipping/receiving equipment.
Follow Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
