Job summary

MasterSpas is seeking an Industrial Sewer to transform raw pieces into durable vinyl spa covers. You will operate industrial sewing machines, read work orders, and follow precise instructions to ensure each cover meets our quality standards.

You’ll inspect materials, troubleshoot basic sewing issues, and collaborate with Cutting, Production and Quality teams to keep workflows efficient. This role emphasizes accuracy, consistency, and pride in craftsmanship.

This isn't delicate sewing. It's hands-on manufacturing where precision, consistency, and quality matter with every seam. You'll operate industrial sewing equipment to build products designed to protect our spas through changing seasons and years of use.

Put Your Skill Into Every Stitch

You’ll operate industrial sewing machines to assemble vinyl spa covers according to specific work orders and product requirements. You’ll:

• Read product specifications, work orders, and sewing instructions.
• Guide material under the needle while following edges, seams, and guide marks.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency from one product to the next.
• Set up and operate your sewing equipment.
• Thread guides and needles, change bobbins, and handle basic machine troubleshooting.

There is a rhythm to this work.

Build Quality Into the Product

When someone purchases a MasterSpas hot tub, they aren't thinking about who sewed the cover.

But they'll absolutely notice if it wasn't sewn correctly.

You’ll inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy, follow established production processes, and communicate concerns when something doesn't look or perform the way it should.

You’ll also help find ways to improve efficiency and minimize wasted material without sacrificing the quality of the finished product.

Because doing something faster only matters if we're still doing it right.

Know Your Machine

The best industrial sewers don't simply sit down and start sewing.

They understand their equipment.

You’ll perform machine setup and light maintenance, change needles and bobbins, troubleshoot basic sewing machine issues, and recognize when something isn't operating the way it should.

Experience with JUKI or CONSEW industrial sewing machines is helpful—but we're ultimately looking for someone with the precision, dependability, and willingness to learn needed to succeed.

What You Can Expect

This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you'll spend much of your shift seated at an industrial sewing machine, with additional walking, standing, bending, reaching, and stooping throughout the day. Schedule

Monday–Thursday from 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with mandatory overtime possible.

Compensation

$16.50 per hour
