Job summary

Commercial Steel Erection, Inc. seeks a hands-on supervisor to direct industrial services teams on outages, maintenance, and construction projects. You will enforce safety, plan work with project management, and coordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers.

The role requires a four-year college program or related experience; a background check and U.S. citizenship are required. Travel readiness and ability to pass a drug screen are also expected.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and Federal background check required.
• Education/experience: Four-year college program or two to four years related experience; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities of workers on installation, welding, piping, fabrication, demolition or other construction projects.
• Supervises up to 10 employees; plans, assigns and directs work; ensures safety and quality adherence.
• Coordinates with Project Manager, Superintendent, inspectors and suppliers; orders safety equipment, tools and materials.
• Monitors progress, reports on materials used and cost, adjusts schedules as needed.
• Ensures conformance to quality systems and project specifications.
