Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Facility Security Officer for our Bremerton, WA facility to administer the NISP security program and oversee DoD security requirements. You will act as the FSO, coordinate with DCSA and government customers, and manage personnel security clearances and adversaries.

You will develop and enforce security policies, train employees, and support reviews and audits while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience administering security programs under NISP
• Experience with government security reps and external agencies
• Experience managing classified information and personnel security clearances
• Knowledge of NISPOM and government security directives/regulations
• Knowledge of physical, personnel, information, and industrial security principles
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of industrial security (or Master's +1 year)

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the facility's security program in compliance with NISPOM and DoD requirements
• Coordinate and oversee sensitive industrial security programs involving classified contracts and information
• Serve as the designated Facility Security Officer for the Bremerton facility
• Liaise with DCSA, government customers, and external agencies
• Prepare for and support security reviews, inspections, and audits
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures
• Conduct employee security briefings, indoctrinations, and annual refresher training
• Coordinate and manage the facility's security education and awareness program
• Process and maintain personnel security clearances and VARs
• Maintain security records and documentation in government and company systems
• Oversee classified material handling, safeguarding, storage, and destruction
• Investigate and report security incidents and suspicious activities
• Provide security guidance to program managers and leadership
• Partner with Information, Physical, HR and program teams for compliance
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions for security posture
