Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking an Industrial Security Officer in Keokuk, IA. This part-time position entails monitoring the premises, managing access control, and patrolling multiple locations to maintain safety and compliance.

Wage is $15.00/hr with weekend shifts. Eligible benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, life and disability insurance, paid training, and more. Paid weekly pay, PTO, uniforms provided, and DailyPay are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Access control duties.
• Will be trained on CPR, AED, and First Aid.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

• Sat - Sun: 7AM - 3PM
• Sat - Sun: 3PM - 11PM
• Fri - Sat: 11PM - 7AM

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
