Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time role in Ballwin, MO. The position offers 32 hours per week with a wage of $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, and enforcing site rules to maintain a secure environment for clients and staff.

The role requires 18+ years old, HS diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills. Training is provided, with paid weekly compensation and benefits where applicable.

• Monitor premises and enforce access control.
• Perform patrols and post orders for assigned sites.
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Provide information to employees and guests; assist others as needed.
• Operate security technology and devices during shifts.
• Conduct property tours and manage inventory of equipment.

Primary Location: Ballwin, MO

Wage: $19.00/HR

Schedules: 32 Hours Per Week

• 1500 - 2300

Our Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Access control duties.
• Equipment inventory.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Reliable means of transportation needed.
