Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation seeks a SCADA/MES Developer to support and evolve Ignition/Sepasoft applications at the Jefferson City facility. You will work with manufacturing, engineering, and IT to deliver reliable digital manufacturing solutions and improve data visibility.

You will develop Python-based logic, configure Ignition screens, and help integrate AMRs and other plant-floor technologies, ensuring uptime and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ignition and Sepasoft in development and production support.
• 2+ years hands-on experience developing or supporting SCADA, MES, or related industrial technology.
• Experience with Ignition in Python and MS SQL Server scripting.
• Experience developing or supporting Ignition Perspective applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment.
• Effective communication with manufacturing, engineering, IT, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, enhance, and support SCADA/MES applications using Ignition 8.1 and Sepasoft 3.81.
• Develop and maintain Ignition Perspective screens, views, and application functionality.
• Develop and modify manufacturing applications using Python/Jython.
• Develop SQL Server scripting and understand database fundamentals for data management.
• Support Sepasoft MES applications, including Batch, Document Management, OEE, and Settings & Changeover.
• Provide hands-on production support to maintain system availability and minimize downtime.
