Oshkosh Corporation seeks a Lead SCADA/MES Developer to provide technical leadership and hands‑on development for Ignition and Sepasoft applications in support of JLG manufacturing operations in Frederick, MD. The role partners with engineering, controls, IT and manufacturing teams to deliver scalable digital manufacturing solutions.

The position requires 5+ years in SCADA/MES, strong Python/Jython and SQL skills, and the ability to mentor other developers while traveling to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing or supporting SCADA, MES, manufacturing applications, or related technology.
• Experience with Ignition using Python/Jython and SQL Server scripting.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production system issues.
• Ability to lead technical solutions and mentor developers/technical resources.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities and provide occasional off-shift support.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, configuration, and support of SCADA/MES apps using Ignition and Sepasoft.
• Serve as SME for Ignition Perspective, Sepasoft MES, and related technologies.
• Develop Ignition Perspective screens, views, and functionality for manufacturing operations.
• Develop and modify manufacturing apps using Python/Jython.
• Support Sepasoft MES modules including Batch, Document Management, and OEE.
