Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation in Frederick, MD seeks a Lead SCADA/MES Developer to provide technical leadership for Ignition and Sepasoft, develop and support manufacturing applications, and mentor other developers.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, controls, IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable digital manufacturing solutions, optimize system reliability, and ensure data availability across sites, with occasional on-site support at facilities.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience developing or supporting SCADA, MES, manufacturing applications, industrial software, or related technology.
Experience developing in Ignition using Python/Jython and working with SQL Server databases and scripting.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical solutions and provide technical direction to developers or other technical resources.
Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, controls, IT, and other business stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, configuration, enhancement, and support of SCADA/MES applications using Ignition and Sepasoft.
Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Ignition Perspective, Sepasoft MES, and related manufacturing application technologies.
Develop and maintain Ignition Perspective screens, views, components, and application functionality supporting manufacturing operations.
Develop and modify manufacturing applications using Python/Jython.
Apply advanced Microsoft SQL Server scripting and database fundamentals to support application development, data management, and system integration.
Develop and support Sepasoft MES applications, including Batch, Document Management, OEE, and Settings & Changeover.
