Job summary

Superior Industries is seeking an Industrial Saw Operator to join our Loganville facility. You will operate an Industrial Saw, cut materials per blueprints, and help ensure timely completion of job orders with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include daily preventive maintenance, operating forklifts and overhead cranes as needed, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The role requires teamwork and adherence to production schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Machine operation experience with safety focus and PM basics.
• Read blueprints, perform basic math, measure to 1/16" with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe & Efficient Production: Operate an Industrial Saw to produce Superior Industries' products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Precision Cutting: Cut materials according to prints and complete job orders on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment, report major repair or maintenance needs, and ensure optimal operation to minimize downtime.
• Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate related equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, as required, following all safety policies and procedures.
• Facility Upkeep & Support: Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with other duties as assigned.

Day Shift

• 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 2:30pm Friday

Qualifications

• Machine Operation & Care: Experience operating industrial band saws with a strong focus on safety, backed by a general mechanical understanding and knowledge of daily preventive maintenance and general equipment care.
• Technical Precision: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, as well as being skilled in basic math, miters, and precise measurement using a tape measure to 1/16".
• Work Environment & Communication: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines, while demonstrating strong communication skills and openness to coaching.
