Applied Controls, a SunSource company, in Malvern, PA, offers the Grow Our Own (GO2) Industrial Sales Development Program. This 12-month, structured training program is designed for recent graduates and early‑career professionals who want to build a successful career in industrial technical sales.

You’ll gain hands‑on training, dedicated mentorship, and real‑world customer experience while learning from experienced sales and technical professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an Engineering focus is preferred.
• Internship experience in manufacturing, distribution, engineering, industrial automation, or sales is a plus.
• Mechanical curiosity and an interest in how industrial systems work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire a career in outside/field sales; willing to travel and relocate for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program at Applied Controls in Malvern, PA.
• Learn consultative outside sales, territory management, and customer relationship development.
• Receive product and application training from experienced professionals.
• Work alongside Account Managers during customer visits and joint sales calls.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers and develop product recommendations.
• Gain hands-on experience with prospecting, quoting, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Receive ongoing coaching and professional development throughout the program.
