Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, seeks an Employee Health and Safety Coordinator to enhance safety programs across Phoenix Metro industrial construction projects. The role promotes a strong safety culture, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports field operations through training, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has construction experience and is committed to protecting employees, clients, and communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management within construction, preferably electrical or underground construction.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and applicable safety regulations.
• Relevant safety certifications such as OSHA 30, BCSP, IASHEP, or NCCER.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the team and promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop, implement, and improve safety policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Deliver safety training and provide resources to ensure employees understand and follow best practices.
• Monitor and enforce compliance through jobsite inspections, audits, and assessments.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations and implement corrective actions.
• Support emergency preparedness efforts including response planning and training exercises.
