Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Safety Program Manager to lead the SHE program at a key facility, reporting to Regional Safety Manager and Facility Manager. You will drive OSHA compliance, incident investigations, training, and environmental stewardship while partnering with operations.

The role covers policy implementation, audits, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to mentor other safety professionals and support enterprise-wide safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• 2–4 years of occupational health and safety experience in industrial settings (manufacturing, processing, or heavy industry).
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 regulations and state safety requirements.
• Professional safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, OHST, or CHST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility’s Safety, Health, and Environmental programs with commitment to safety excellence and injury-free operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, permits, and Reworld safety requirements; support VPP initiatives where applicable.
• Monitor program effectiveness through KPIs, audits, and inspections; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Lead investigations of accidents, near-misses, first-aid, and contractor incidents with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain complete safety records and regulatory documentation.
