This position is remote with up to 75% travel.

Your Impact

As a Safety Specialist, you will focus on electrical safety standards and reducing vehicle-related incidents across Solar, ESS, Battery, and EV operations. Your role includes supporting operational teams, managing EHS programs, and leading safety initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Establish and achieve safety metrics, emphasizing electrical and vehicle safety.
  • Promote safety culture initiatives and zero harm practices.
  • Coach teams on electrical safety and safe driving.
  • Monitor and report safety performance metrics.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage injury and illness reports, focusing on electrical and driving incidents.
  • Conduct compliance audits and develop safety training materials.
  • Ensure adherence to external safety standards and develop safety policies.
  • Manage driver safety programs and update safety procedures.
  • Facilitate safety communications and deliver training sessions.
Core Requirements
  • Minimum three years in safety coordination, especially in electrical and driver safety, within relevant industries.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety and driver safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to meet EHS objectives and reduce incidents.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Cal/OSHA standards.
  • Strong organizational skills for remote work management.
