Job summary

The ASR Group Baltimore plant is seeking a Safety Supervisor to bolster safety and health programs. You will assist the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining a safety management system, ensuring regulatory compliance and injury prevention across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Safety or a related field and 2–4 years of industrial safety experience, with strong training, investigation, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field is required.
• Associate degree in a related field is preferred; candidates with four+ years of relevant professional experience will also be considered.
• 2–4 years of occupational safety and health experience in industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary backup for the EHS Manager and support safety programs.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing facility safety policies to achieve ISO 45001 certification.
• Provide safety content, training, and program support to reduce hazards and injuries.
• Support safety metrics, investigations, and employee engagement initiatives.
