Job summary

Perma-Pipe in Hebron, OH is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to support and promote a safe, healthy workplace in line with OSHA and Ohio regulations. You will help implement and continuously improve our Health, Safety, and Environmental programs.

The role covers training, hazard identification, incident response, and day-to-day guidance for employees, supervisors, contractors, and visitors in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and applicable safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to lead training sessions and conduct investigations.
• Meticulous documentation and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of safety regulations and update compliance measures.
• Support OSHA recordkeeping requirements and safety documentation systems.
• Perform routine safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs (HazCom, Fall Protection, LOTO, etc.).
• Lead safety committees and promote proactive safety culture.
• Support workers' compensation coordination and return-to-work processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve safety programs.
