Job summary

Perma-Pipe in Lebanon, Tennessee is seeking a Safety Specialist to support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE programs within a manufacturing environment. You will promote a safe workplace, identify hazards, and foster a proactive safety culture on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required in Safety/related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of safety experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred; First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Strong communication, incident investigation, and training delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Support site HSE policy implementation and program improvements.
• Perform routine safety inspections and hazard identification on the shop floor.
• Promote safety culture and employee engagement through training and near-miss reporting.
• Lead or participate in toolbox talks, safety training sessions, and incident investigations.
• Collect data, document findings, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
