Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking an experienced S&OP leader to drive the Industrial Segment planning process, align revenue and demand with supply and inventory targets, and present executives with clear tradeoff analyses.

You will partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and BU leaders to build robust forecasts, evaluate market trends, and develop feasible supply plans. The role requires strong analytics, ERP experience, and excellent communication at the executive level.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain, engineering, or business.
8+ years in S&OP, supply/demand planning, and related planning disciplines.
Experience leading cross-functional processes with sales, ops, product, finance, and procurement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with ERP and S&OP planning systems; Oracle preferred.
Advanced Excel and Power BI with data analytics skills.
Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly Industrial Segment S&OP process including demand review, supply review, inventory review, demand-supply reconciliation, and executive S&OP.
Establish a consensus operating plan aligning revenue, demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and customer commitments.
Drive executive-level decision making regarding supply-demand tradeoffs, allocation priorities, capacity investments, and inventory strategies.
Facilitate cross-functional planning meetings and ensure actions are completed on time.
Partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Business Unit leaders to develop robust demand forecasts.
Evaluate market trends, customer demand signals, new product introductions, end-of-life transitions, and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with manufacturing sites, supply chain teams, procurement, and operations leaders to develop feasible supply plans.
Analyze material availability, production capacity, labor constraints, supplier risks, and operational bottlenecks.
Develop scenarios and recommendations to mitigate risk and maximize revenue attainment.
Establish inventory targets and monitor performance across raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
Develop executive dashboards, KPI reviews, and management reports.
Champion adoption of standardized S&OP processes, tools, and best practices across the Industrial Segment.
