Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for our customers. A working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required.

Pay ranges from $30 to $60 per hour, depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 45–60 hours per week. The job involves working with ammonia and Freon systems and requires strong safety discipline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC tech school preferred.
• Universal EPA certification or ability to obtain.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks required.
• Respirator fit test required and ability to wear respirator.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support of industrial refrigeration equipment for accounts.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon equipment.
• Troubleshoot screw and reciprocal compressors, controls and alarms.
• Adhere to all safety policies and governing requirements.
