Job summary
A leading mechanical contracting firm in Virginia is seeking an experienced IR Service Team Lead to guide service operations. In this role, you will lead diagnostic efforts, perform equipment repairs, and execute preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Industrial Refrigeration, including evaporative condensers and control systems, with a focus on safety and quality. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to travel and a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
EPA-approved CFC certification and RETA I & II required.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
Lead diagnostic efforts on Industrial Refrigeration system issues.
Perform and oversee equipment repairs for quality assurance.
Execute preventive maintenance per agreements.
Plan and schedule work with the Service Coordinator.
Coach junior team members and maintain strong customer communication.
Skills
Leadership capability
Industry experience in Industrial Refrigeration
Expertise in evaporative condensers
Knowledge of IIAR/RETA standards
Ability to troubleshoot complex control systems
