Caliberr Staffing in Junction City, OR is seeking a detail-oriented Refrigeration Systems Quality Technician to ensure our high-performance cooling equipment meets rigorous standards before reaching customers. You will validate that every unit is safe, efficient, and fully functional.

You will perform comprehensive testing, analyze schematics, and document results, collaborating with engineering and production to drive continuous improvement in reliability and testing efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in industrial maintenance, HVAC/R, or related manufacturing.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and piping schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and electronic record-keeping systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around large machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing and commissioning of chillers and refrigeration systems.
• Analyze wiring diagrams and piping layouts to verify specs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Charge refrigerant, detect leaks, evacuate and recover per safety regulations.
• Interface with PLC, HMI, and VFD to calibrate and validate responses.
• Document test results and quality records.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to improve reliability and testing efficiency.
