Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance B Shift technician at the New Holland F/P Plant in New Holland, PA. The role focuses on operating and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems and related HVAC components while adhering to safety and Tyson policies.

The incumbent will perform cleaning, filter changes, and roof-area maintenance, shadow senior Refrigeration Technicians, and generate maintenance notifications and SAP entries.

Qualifications

• HVAC trade school or equivalent training in industrial or commercial refrigeration.
• Ability to work in hot/cold/wet environments and lift 40+ lbs.
• Must be able to rotate shifts and work weekends/holidays and overtime as needed.
• Must pass Level 4 pulmonary function test and annual recertification; clean shaven for proper respirator fit.
• 12 months of continuous employment with a single employer in the last 36 months or completed formal trade schooling.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Perform cleaning/washing of ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC/MAUs on the roof.
• Change filters and clean roof area; shadow Refrigeration Technicians for training.
• Create maintenance notifications and work orders; record time in SAP.
• Be willing to rotate shifts and work overtime as required.
