Job summary

ColonialWebb is a leading MEP contractor in the commercial and industrial space, delivering refrigeration design and construction expertise for food distribution facilities and cold storage projects. The role centers on engineering design, calculations, and documentation to meet project specifications.

You will lead and collaborate with project teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant refrigeration systems from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• EIT or PE exam preferred.
• Minimum five years in industrial refrigeration engineering and design.

Responsibilities

• Design refrigeration systems for food distribution centers, cold storage, and processing facilities.
• Develop flow diagrams, plans, and specs for refrigeration systems.
• Perform heat load calculations to determine refrigeration requirements.
• Conduct heat transfer and thermodynamic analyses for equipment sizing and selection.
• Provide leadership and oversight on construction layouts, documents, and specs.
